Minutes of the Second Vidyalaya Management Committee Meeting for the Session 08—09 held on 17.1.09 at 10.00 a.m in the Principal’s Chamber

The 2nd Meeting of Vidyalaya Management Committee for the session 2008-09 was held on 17.1.09 in the Principal's Office at 10.00 a.m. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman, Prof. Ved Prakash.

The following members were present in the meeting.

› The meeting commenced with a formal welcome of the VMC members by the Principal.

› The Principal briefed the Committee regarding the progress of the vidyalaya and action taken on the decisions of the earlier meeting held on 23.3.08.. She also briefed the committee regarding various activities of the vidyalaya & measures taken to improve the academic performance of the students specially class X students. The VMC chairman suggested to send invitation letters to the Heads of various educational institutions for the guest lectures on different topics for the students.

› The committee then took up the agenda items for discussion.

AGENDA ITEM No. 2: The VMC agreed to the proposal for getting the school building white washed and painted. Permission was granted to make the expenditure for the same from the VVN.

AGENDA ITEM No. 3-7: Regarding agenda item no. 03 to 07 the VMC appreciated the required proposal for the institution but advised that the school should come up with the specific proposal with the budget provision, rates & quotation in the next meeting for the final approval.

AGENDA ITEM No. 8: Regarding purchase of Laser Printer the VMC advised to purchase DeskJet printers of high speed instead of Laser printer.

The meeting ended with a Vote of thanks from the Principal.
